個人的な訓練 - Private classes and personal training sessions are always available with Paul Herbert at Dartford SKC. Many students have taken advantage of this opportunity prior to important competitions or grading. Others are simply unable to make regular classes or feel that they would rather train in a one on one environment before progressing into a full class. However, some students prefer to utilise this method of training throughout their Karate due to accelerated rate of progression and improvement made. Private tuition is normally conducted at the Dartford SKC dojo but can be arranged at your home or any alternative venue. With private tuition the instruction fees are considerably higher than that of a regular class. Private tuition is charged at approximately £35 per hour. However, the length of each class, frequency of the sessions and venue are all taken into consideration when negotiating fees.
Sports Karate : With Karate on the verge of Olympic recognition, these sessions are aimed at developing the Karate athlete. Tactics and strategies are covered for both WKF and Shobu-Ippon systems. Extensive preparation drills, pad work, resistance training and competition specific fitness routines are all covered. Again, these sessions are suitable for the first time competitor all the way through to the seasoned international. Personal Protection : These sessions teach the individual how to apply and modify techniques into an effective and complete system of self-defence. Line-ups, multi-range striking techniques, grappling, chokes, takedowns and groundwork are all focused upon. Advice is given on threat awareness, the understanding of behaviorol patterns, the law and target hardening. This is where the three K's of Karate become the four D's of survival - Dialogue, Deception, Distraction and Destruction. |
